Hope you have all had a really great day.
We got a little bit of sunshine and a lot of rain! At least it does give you chance to craft.
I thought I would go a little more rustic than my previous card. I used Bo Bunny Timepiece Collection Papers and one of the matching embellishments.
I used a Krista Smith (Saturated Canary) digistamp 'Orchard'. She is so pretty had a great time colouring her in.
I used the following colours of Promarkers:
Hair - Cinnamon, Cocoa, Raw Sienna, Shale.
Skin - Blush, Dusky Pink
Apron - Apricot, Pumpkin, Ginger
Top - Marsh Green, Pear Green, Olive Green, Meadow Green
Skirts - Cardinal Red, Crimson, Burgundy
Last but not least a few flowers, some raffia and a rub on sentiment held by a Tim Holtz memo pin.
Have a nice night - see you soon.

Everything's All White.
What a lovely morning it is! The sun is shining and everything is well with the world.
I had an overwhelming urge to craft last night which wouldn't have been so bad but it was already midnight. I gave in and crafted to the early hours.
I bought some new digistamps yesterday from 'Saturated Canary' designed by Krista Smith and couldn't wait to use them.
Hope you like what I did.
The stamp is called 'Elphie' and she is just so delicate. I coloured her using my 'Promarkers':
Hair - Vanilla, Saffron & Apricot.
Eyes - Teal Green
Skin - Blush & Dusky Pink.
Clothes - Putty, Sunkissed Pink, Teal Green, Grey Green, Cool Grey 1 &2, Vanilla &Ivory
Broom - Cinnamon and Sandstone
I kept everything else really simple; white textured card, white lace ribbon, embossed frame, flowers and pearls and just a touch of 'pearl' Perfect Pearls to highlight the frame.
Thanks for taking a look.

Fairy Shimmer
I was having a little crafting session today in the sunshine and thought I would make a card. The ideas for the colours came from a Colour Throwdown Challenge. I really loved the combinations so I set too and this is what I came up with. Hope you like it.
I just love her she is one of the Lilli of the Valley stamps as if you couldn't guess. I used some Basic Grey papers and coloured her with my Promarkers.
I then used stickles on her wings to give them that fairy shimmer.

CD Profile
I have been having a clear out and I have loads of CDs that I got free with the newspaper. I decided to do something a little different than just playing them - hope you like.
I made this hanging with an old CD which I covered with craft paper and layered with the BoBunny timepiece stack. The image was from an old birthday card, the flowers are made from the new Tim Holtz tattered flower garland die. After a meal out the after dinner mint chocolates came on a little plate with the doilies - both came home with me!
I used different papers and even tissue paper I had saved from a previous jewellery purchase. The beads on the centre of the flowers were again from my stash of broken jewellery my Aunt gave me.

Baby Dragon
I was asked to make a 2nd Birthday cake for a friend. Her little boy just loves Dragons.
She told me he didn't want to eat him and asked if he could keep him. Bless him!

Bygone Birdie
I just love Steam Punk and grunging things up. I got a little bird house from a shop in town - what else was i going to do with it? - Grunge it!
If I was a bird this is exactly where I would be living. I tried to make it really eclectic as if a magpie had been helping with the renovations.
The little mouse was from some old broken jewellery that my Aunt gave me. When I sew him I new precisely where to put him.
I really love my little bird house.

Sew... Many Happy Returns
I have been busy baking again and have had several birthday cakes to make one of which is below. My friend at work asked me to make a cake for her mum for her 50th Birthday and she enjoys sewing.
I made the pink sugar roses and then made buttons, a sewing needle, scissors and a bobbin of cotton to place on the cake.
My friends mum loved it and her Nan took it the neighbours to see before anyone could cut it.

A Christmas Past
Ok! So I realise that it is far from Christmas but I made these as gifts last year for my bests friends Clare and Charmiane (your both amazing!). I haven't had chance to add them to my blog but after being several threats of violence thought it was time to do it - so here goes.
This is the calendar that I made for Charmaine using the gorgeous Tim Holtz embellishments. I also used the Kan Ban Industriana papers. I love Steam Punk!
I also made a diary cover in a similar colour scheme for Clare using Tim Holtz also. I had a really great time making both gifts.
I hope the girls liked them as much as I did my gifts from them.
Thanks for taking the time to look!

Second Chance Summer!
I cannot believe that it is October and so beautiful today.
I was asked to make a birthday card for a friend at work. So I took inspiration from the beautiful day and used this Sarah Kay stamp to give a feel of summer.

My Brothers 30th Release the Cracken!!
Now I know this may sound weird to you but I love to torture my little brother. I say little, he is 30 now but none of the pleasure I feel from him squealing like a girl for mum has diminished.
My favourite method of torture is to steal his car keys and deposit them at the back of my trousers hanging over the waistband. I then wiggle my bum at him shouting "Release the Cracken".
Now you know the story - there can be only one cake for his Birthday.
I took his keys and sketched them so that I could make an accurate copy of them in sugar.
I do love my brother - even if I do make his life a living hell. But as I keep telling him "it's my job! I am his big sister and that's what sisters do".

Chinese Furniture
I can't believe it was March when I last posted. I am sorry hope these few posts will make it up to you!
My friend at work asked me to make a cake for her husbands birthday. He imports Chinese furniture. I thought that meant chinese style furniture - it doesn't it is just normal furniture from China. Oh well thats my brain for you! lol.
The packing box says Happy Birthday in Chinese.

Baby Shower
Sorry it has been so long posting anything but this year so far has gone crazy. Hope everyone had a good New Year! I haven't managed to do any paper crafting (yet) but have been making some cakes so I hope you like what I have produced.
This is the cake that I made for my friend at work for her baby shower. She wasn't sure what she was having so I decided to make a baby boy and a baby girl from sugar - better safe then sorry!
I really like his dickie bow and the little girl has a little heart on her bottom.

V.W. Camper Van
After a stern telling off from my friends for not posting anything ( I was on holiday) I thought I better show you the latest creation.
Its a VW Camper van which I was asked to make for the top of a wedding cake before I went away. It is all sugar apart from the veil.
I am not sure what the significance of the VW is but I really enjoyed making it.
See you all soon!

Wishing You Well
My friends mum had a bad fall this weekend and has broken her elbow! I know - ouch! She was so brave though, don't think I would have been if I was in that situation. I made her this get well card and will be dropping it round for her tomorrow. Get well soon!
I made a concertina fold card and covered it with some lavender and lime papers I had in my box - forget where I got them from. I added a band of dolly lace (Martha Stewart punch) and stamped some flourishes. All the edges have then been distressed with Tim Holtz distress inks (Lavender and Chipped Saphire).
I used this beautiful Magnolia stamp and coloured her with my Pro Markers. A few gems and flower embellishments and she is done.

No Peeking.
I used this great sketch by Lena Katrine from the lili of the valley challenge to create my card.
This Christmas bunny is so sweet. I have coloured him with my beloved promarkers and distressed the edges with bundled sage and black soot Tim Holtz distressed inks.
The papers are from g.c.d studios (joyful peace collection). I added ribbon, gems and some holly leaves and berries.
I cut the ring of light from around the candle and backed it with some angelina fibres to give it some sparkle.
The Image is the spritzed with Glimmer Mist and i added stitching around the elements as a finishing touch.

Playtime!
Hi, hope you have been having a good weekend! I woke up with a cold this morning so I am consoling myself with some crafting and hot chocolate!
I love this digi stamp from Simply Betty Stamps and thought it would look cool in a School of Ghouls.
I used an orange and a teal co ordinations card which I scrunched up and then distressed the edges with just a black memento ink pad. I used a Martha Stewart punch to create the scalloped boarder.
I added some ribbon and orange gromlets and sprayed the black card with a gold glimmer mist.
Hope you like !

The Burtonesque Dolls Challenge
So the weekend is nearly over but I thought I would have one last crafting session before the daily grind begins in full.
The Burtonesque Dolls challenge this time is to create a new candy for Willy Wonka.
I loved doing this it was another excuse to watch Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (as if you need one).
I decided to make a chocolate bar so I bought a bar of chocolate to make the wrapper for - actually I bought two, one two eat while I was designing the other.
I used a gorgeous Digi stamp from Simply Betty Stamps and flipped his image. I added detail to his hat and shirt with a fine line marker and then coloured him with my Pro Markers. I used some black coordination's card and embossed it with my Tim Holtz embossing folder and then sanded it to distress it.
I figured the only fitting flavour would be Wang Doodle & Walnut. Obviously only 100% organic Wang Doodles used for the ingredients - country of origin Lumpa Land.
The chocolate bar has the Squirrel Sorted seal of approval to indicate only the best Walnuts have been selected and used.
Sounds delicious doesn't it!

Gone Fishing!
I love this little guy. Not sure about you but men's cards always cause me a problem.
I made this for my Uncle's 65th birthday he is a keen fisherman.
I stamped the Lili of the Valley image and coloured him with my H20s. The DPs are from my stash. It has been distressed with Tim Holtz Distress Inks Antique Linen, Tea Dye & Brushed Corduroy.
I made the fishing fly from a jump ring which I bent into a hook shape. I then took the threads from a gold organza ribbon and tied them to the wire. I added a green feather and then wrapped the remaining frayed ribbon around the feather to keep it tight and finished it off with some green cotton. Not sure how well it would work at catching fish but it looks cute on the card.
I then plundered my brothers fishing tackle box and added fishing line with lead weights. My little brother (I say little he is 29) tied the line to the spinner for me ( he informs me that no self respecting fisherman would tie them in any other way) and there you have it !
I hope you like it !

Searching in the Snow
Christmas cards in August! - I know, I know, but you have to start some time and there is something quite satisfying about sitting in a T shirt thinking about snow.
I have used a Lili of the Valley stamp and coloured her with my pro markers. I had lots of fun with my embossing powders 'snow white', I haven't used my embossing powders for ages and it was so much fun getting them out - and everywhere. I am not the neatest crafter!
I spritzed each of the individual elements with Glimmer Mist and then added ribbon and some snow flake embelishments I had in my craft box.
I am entering this card in to the following challenges:
Sweet Stampin Challenge #42 Winter Wonderland
Totally Gorjuss Challenge #45 Christmas in August
